How far is too far? Infamous Blog 3.0



Megan Fox, Ashlee Simpson, The Olsen twins, Nicole Richie… 

The pressure women face to be thin is overwhelming.

In any given gossip magazine, you will find pictures of Hollywood celebrities who look like they have recently missed a few important meals – and we assume it is probably all in the name of staying competitive in their field.

Of course the public gives celebrities like these a very hard time – primarily because this body type is not the norm for society, But unfortunately, there are some girls that feel as though they need to live up to these standards in order to be beautiful…



Most of us are very uneducated when it comes to nutrition and very naïve when it comes to the definition of health & beauty. We are constantly chasing “perfection”.

And that can lead to a number of deadly disorders;

  • ·         Anorexia
  • ·         Bulimia
  • ·         Body Dysmorphic disorder
  • ·         Binge eating disorder
  • ·         Orthorexia nervosa
  • ·         Compulsive overeating
  • ·         Pica Disorder
  • ·         Diabulimia

And the list goes on....


How do you know if you are secretly suffering with an eating disorder?

Sadly these days 1 in every 5 teenage girls between the ages of 13-18 have some sort of eating disorder. And most of them actually don’t think that anything is wrong with the way they are think.

It could be something as little as lying about the food you have eaten to actually putting in the effort to HIDE certain foods to avoid feeling guilty about eating or craving them!

Then binge eating to the point of feeling physically ill or starving themselves from the guilt they have, It is such a sad topic and it hurts me to think that a lot of these young, beautiful girls go through this every day.

Take this time to have a think … is the way you think about food healthy?

People usually break foods up into 2 categories;

GOOD FOOD                         and                              BAD FOOD




The truth is.. it’s just food!?!

There is no such thing as bad food; everything is perfectly fine in moderation. And once you stop thinking of food as “bad” you take away the negative thoughts that are attached to that word and ultimately eliminating the guilt you make yourself feel for eating it. Make sense right?

Don’t be scared to treat yourself! You deserve it, you work hard, you train hard and eat really well.. if you want a chocolate HAVE A DAMN CHOCOLATE GIRLFRIEND :D


Take a deep breath – WHY are you putting so much pressure on yourself? Start enjoying the finer things in life, like waking up early and going for a walk with your man (or dog), do a yoga class with your girlfriends or hire out a romantic comedy. People take life way too seriously and things like that tend to balance you, and everyone needs a little balance!!


Last but not least- Find yourself a HEALTHY role model!



None of this superficial, super skinny crap! Find powerful women, who look after themselves and stand for all the right things!

Infamous Blog 2.0

Hello my amazing Infamous Fans,

I hope we have all been behaving!!

I get SO MANY emails everyday with a lot of girls asking what my diet looks like, what I eat day to day… so for blog number 2 you will get to have a little peep at what my lunch box looks like!!

Depending on what day of the week it is and how early I’m starting my breakfast usually looks something like this ;

  • ·         Oats & Protein with Blueberries and Banana

I add 30g of oats and fill my bowl up with about ½ cup of water, put in the Microwave for about 1 minute and then I add either ‘Chocolate Custard Primed Whey Protein’ or ‘Choc Banana- Synergy 5 International Protein’ (You can find both at

And stir until all blended in, I tend to add a little bit of cold water too while stirring.


  • ·         Macro - Almond , Basil Nut and Cashew paste on 2 slices of toast with Banana, Blueberries, cut up Grapes and Strawberries (But apparently strawberries are out of season now so I have had to go without sadly ) 
  • ·         40g Protein Shake 


  • ·         2 Eggs on toast – Usually boiled (as runny eggs make me feel weird!)
  • ·         40g Protein Shake


So to start my day I always like to fill up on some Protein, Why you ask?

Well Protein is necessary for healthy skin, nails, muscles, cartilage and blood. Protein helps to build and repair bodily tissues, and it is used to produce hormones and enzymes. When you eat protein for breakfast, you will feel full of energy and will be ready to take on anything the day throws at you. You are also more likely to feel full longer, which ultimately can reduce your chance of mid-morning binging!!

HOT TIP : NEVER skip breakfast!!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day; it reawakens your metabolism which slowed down over night while you slept and supplies your body with the macronutrients it needs to get through the day!

Mid-morning I usually have a Protein shake and I snack on about 30g of Almonds.

I always make sure I drink ATLEAST 3 litres of water through the day (ask my clients, I drink more than they do through their session’s lol)


At the moment I’m loving mash potato, so I’m eating that instead of rice.

  • ·         2 chicken breasts
  • ·         Steamed Broccolini (my favourite veggie at the moment)
  • ·         Mash potato (made with no fat milk)

 Afternoon snack

I usually have my “Famous Davina Smoothie” (only a few have been lucky enough to sample this! )

Made with 40g Protein Powder, 1 banana, handful of blueberries, 2 table spoons of fat free Vanilla Valia yoghurt – YUM!

And if I’m still hungry I will just have 2 eggs on toast


My dinner is pretty plain, its exactly the same as my lunch!!

  • ·         2 chicken breasts
  • ·         Steamed Broccolini
  • ·         Mash potato (made with no fat milk)

Now in saying that, this is what I cook myself Monday to Friday.  At the moment I’m not “dieting” for anything so if I want to go out for dinner I do, or if I want to have a cocktail on the weekend I will.. I’m just enjoying the healthy balance I have in my life with my training, eating, socialising and working!

And saying that… my job is to motivate you and push you towards YOUR goals so I will do everything humanly possible to make sure that your journey is as pleasant it could possibly be. Just because my clients choose to follow plans to reach their specific goals doesn’t necessarily mean that I have to be the world’s strictest trainer with the world’s strictest diet. Everyone knows I enjoy life so I really take offence when people say “you should be setting a good example” (eg. If I upload a photo of a yummy dessert)… I’m sure a few of us know what I’m talking about here ;)

I have my OWN goals and at the moment my clients and my business are my number 1 priority so how “LEAN” I am isn’t going to play on my mind too much at all, I’m happy training and eating well and having the freedom to make my own decisions.

Infamous Physiques Blog 0.1

HELLOO EVERYONE, and thank you so much for visiting the BRAND NEW Infamous Physiques website!

OK, so I’m not going to sit here and preach to you all about how strict, disciplined and perfect you have to be, because at the end of the day… it’s SO not about that!

We as females seem to take the whole “body image” thing so seriously that it ends up taking over our lives, and most of the time we spend more time thinking about what we don’t like about ourselves than what we actually already have and how lucky we really are!

This might sound funny coming from a Personal Trainer, but for anyone that knows me would know that I am a MASSIVE believer in having a happy, healthy life balance!

When I was younger I went through a really tough stage when I constantly felt the need to “be better”, although I tried my hardest I actually got to the point where I didn’t really know what “better was”? 

(I’m sure most of you understand what I’m saying here)

I had goals.. but not really, I had a plan.. but I didn’t really know what direction I was going in.. Basically I just wanted to be what others expected me to be, therefore driving myself crazy!?!?!

But the actual crazy thing was everyone loved me as I was, no one expected anything from me, which I came to realise after a long amount of time dieting, restricting myself from doing the things I enjoyed and basically taking life WAAAAY too seriously for a teenager!

I honest to god feel as though I have the best life imaginable now, I am exactly where I dreamed I would be at 21. All because I made the conscious decision to live for ME and only ME! I eat the foods that I know my body needs but also not afraid to go out and eat a meal with the girls or have a few cocktails and I train because I love it and how it makes me feel. I’m not worried that If I have a day off training I will suddenly turn in to a whale or if I look at a cupcake that it will go straight to my ass.. and just quietly I AM SO GLAD.. Because to me, that doesn’t seem like living!

Unless you have a specific goal like competing there isn’t much point in overly stressing about the small stuff, and for those that do compete I have SO MUCH respect for them because it is one massive achievement in itself just to get up on that stage, not many can do it!

What I’m trying to say is just enjoy it, enjoy your training, enjoy your food and enjoy yourself! Otherwise you will end up looking at it as just another “thing” you have to cram into your day :D
